Tomb Index is the first published monograph of graphic designer David Rudnick's work, designed and published by Terrain [designers of Daniel Arnold – Pickpocket]. The book is an extreme graphic design opus, containing a number of production techniques that are unique to this publication.
It catalogues the 177 "Tombs" of the Tomb Series; depictions of optical data discs on black voids, drawn by David Rudnick using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS3, using the trackpad on a 2012 Macbook Pro. Containing over 700 individual illustrations and a unique colour and print calibration developed uniquely for this publication by Terrain, as well as introductory texts by David Rudnick, and 3 texts by the author Christopher S. Wood from Forgery, Replica, Fiction [2008], and detailed catalogues of the attributes of the Tombs and the structure of the series.
